In September 2015 CBC gave back by raising funds to donate to UJAA’s High School Graduate Awards. CBC’s gift was presented to Danielle Lyerly graduated from New Rochelle High School and is a member of the National Honor Society, Habitat for Humanity and participant on the Step Team. Danielle was a member of Mindshapers, STRIVE and participated in SUPA Forensics the Charity Midnight run. She is now attends Carnegie Mellon University where she majors in Business and Psychology.
In April 2013, 2014 and 2015, partnered with Nassau County Executive, Edward P. Mangano, to recognize outstanding Caribbean business and community leaders at the Annual Caribbean Leadership Breakfast and Recognition Ceremony. Some of the Caribbean business and community leaders that were given awards of recognition by Nassau County are Millicent Clarke Esq., Dawn Warren Esq., Steve Drummond Esq., Douglas Mayers, Gina Faustin, Dr. Clive Williams, Dr Fitzgerald Kerr, Dr Aurbey Lewis, Annette Runcie, Jude Eli, Jeff Bacchas, Mark Smith and Keith Watson.
At the 2014 CBC Holiday Event & Fundraiser in December, CBC was able to raise funds that were donated to the Hempstead Boys & Girls Club based in Hempstead NY.
